The Patriot: A Literary Analysis of Monsieur Defarge Patriot: n. A person who  beloveds, supports, and defends his or her  commonwealth and its interests with  faithfulness. Monsieur Defarge is the patriot of all patriots (Kind of identical Tom Brady) He fits the definition in every way, shape, and form. He bleeds the French blue, white, and red. And in the countries time of need is when Defarge steps up. He takes the reins of a transmutation. A revolution that will change the field forever. Dickens begins his novel, A Tale of Two Cities, describing this revolution in great detail. The ringleader of all revolutionist acts is Monsieur Defarge. Defarge is a victim of low-spirited tyranny and rages against the upper class. Good-humored by nature, Defarge proceeds secretive, angry, and knockout payable to his hatred of the nobility and his strong desire for the vindicate of his common people. Because of his dear for the cause and spurred on by his worthless wife, he plows the leader of the revolutionary cause. Monsieur Defarge is driven by his love for the revolution because of his devotion to his wife, his hatred for the social class, and his everlasting passion for his country. Monsieur Defarges love for the revolution had originally been cultivated with his devotion to his wife.

Although Madame Defarge is ruthless and unstoppable, she has rooted Monsieurs love for the revolutionary cause. She is the wakeful eye of the revolution, always observant and aware of what is discharge on, and supports her married man throughout the revolution. Monsieur Defarge and his wife have, indeed becom e the dynamic orthodontic braces in the cau! se, and Monsieurs undying love for his wife has become stronger as he aims it towards the revolution.
